Opened four years ago, Mar Suites Formentera belongs to the MarCapital group and is operated by Universal Beach Hotels. The property only opens during the beautiful season, from March or April, to offer guests the very best of the island.
Nothing on the outside could prepare visitors for the charm that radiates from the hotel as soon as they enter. Forget the traditional reception area, usually the first space discovered in luxury properties. At Mar Suites Formentera, the entrance opens directly onto the restaurant and bar area. Fine sand covers the floor, recalling the upscale beach clubs of the Balearics, complemented by wooden tables, woven chairs, and crochet parasols.
Lush greenery enhances the natural atmosphere of the property, with immaculate finishes punctuated by elegant materials such as dry stone, juniper wood, sisal rope, and wooden reeds.

This is where breakfast is served, in the form of a buffet complemented by a classic à la carte menu featuring eggs cooked to order, pancakes, and puddings, as well as lunches and dinners at the Es Garrover restaurant, and aperitifs at the pool bar nestled among the tables.
For the past two years, the chef from Valencia has been reinventing Spanish culinary classics enriched with Mediterranean flavors. Grilled avocado, croquetas, Caesar salad, Spanish charcuterie boards, ceviche, roasted fish and meat, traditional paella… Every dish is flawlessly executed.
Meals are enjoyed facing the swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers and outdoor daybeds, inviting guests to unwind for hours under the sun. In the morning, before indulging in fresh fruit and pastries, guests can enjoy a yoga class while temperatures are still mild.
To extend the feeling of relaxation, Mar Suites offers a small spa area with a sensory shower and massage room, featuring treatments such as the Eternal Youth facial, the Queen of Egypt ritual, and after-sun care. A few cardio and fitness machines are also installed outdoors.

Ultra-exclusive, the hotel has only 31 suites spread across two buildings. Once again, the bohemian chic style is reflected throughout the spaces. White walls blend with organic lines, rounded alcoves, spacious volumes, and natural materials.
Each accommodation includes a living room and dining area. Ground-floor suites feature a private garden with a small pool, while upstairs suites offer a panoramic terrace with a jacuzzi.
