Ferrari is in great form this year and it is Carlos Sainz who takes his first trophy at the top of a Formula 1 circuit in Silverstone, England.<\/p>\n

After a chaotic start, the race continued at Silverstone<\/strong> on Sunday before offering an incredible finale. Carlos Sainz<\/strong> took his first Formula 1 win ahead of Sergio P\u00e9rez and Lewis Hamilton<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Carlos Sainz Junior<\/strong> had to wait eight seasons and his 150th start in Formula 1 to join the long line of Grand Prix winners<\/strong>. Discover this young hopeful.<\/p>\n

Carlos Sainz Junior is the son of Carlos Sainz<\/strong>, world rally champion. He had a destiny in the car. In 2001, when Fernando Alonso<\/strong> started his first season in F1, Carlos Sainz Junior was only six years old and already a fan of the driver.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

At that time, Formula 1<\/strong> was not yet a very popular sport in Spain, but Fernando’s results would soon excite the country, far beyond the province of Asturias. At the age of 11, Carlos Sainz Junior started to race in karting, but while other drivers had the weight of their family name, he also had the weight of his first name, which was known to everyone. He then distinguished himself by going to the circuit after karting. He won the Asia-Pacific KF3 championship<\/strong> before finishing second in the Spanish championship. In 2010 he is integrated into the Red Bull network<\/strong>, which will finance the rest of his career.<\/p>\n

The Austrian energy drink company, which also supports the father on the Dakar, will accelerate the career of young Carlos Sainz Junior. In 2013, the Formula 1 team Red Bull Racing<\/strong>, made him do his first tests in the premier class.<\/p>\n

The objective? Allow the young Spaniard to obtain his superlicense, essential to race in F1. The following year, he became Formula Renault 3.5 Series world champion<\/strong> ahead of Frenchman Pierre Gasly<\/strong>. He then entered Formula 1 via Toro Rosso<\/strong>, Red Bull’s little sister, in 2015. Associated with future world champion Max Verstappen<\/strong> and then Daniil Kvyat<\/strong>, Carlos Sainz is getting better and better.<\/p>\n

In September 2017, although still under contract with Toro Rosso, Renault<\/strong> recruited him to replace Jolyon Palmer<\/strong> in 2018. Sainz enters the points in the inaugural Grand Prix where he finishes tenth and then six in a row. Renault announced his replacement by Daniel Ricciardo<\/strong> in 2019 and Carlos Sainz joined McLaren<\/strong> to replace Fernando Alonso. He then ranks tenth in the championship with 53 points.<\/p>\n

In May 2020, the announcement of the failure of negotiations between Sebastian Vettel and Scuderia Ferrari<\/strong> and the departure of the latter after the 2020 season triggered a series of movements on the transfer market. Daniel Ricciardo was announced at McLaren Racing in 2021, taking the place of Sainz who joined Charles Leclerc<\/strong> at Ferrari.<\/p>\n
