Apple, which usually reveals its new iphone models in September, should not be an exception to the rule for its iPhone 14.<\/p>\n

The rumors are going well and the new iPhone 14 by Apple<\/strong> should be presented in mid-September of this year. But a question arises around the price of the latter. Indeed, speaking to the British tabloid The Sun<\/strong><\/em>, the analyst Daniel Ives<\/strong> of Wedbush Securities<\/strong> explains that the 2022 models should cost more than their predecessors.<\/p>\n

The classic model is expected to be $100 more expensive<\/strong>, and the other variants will also be affected by this increase. If confirmed, the iPhone 14 would cost $899 in the U.S. compared to $799 for the iPhone 13. As for the “Pro” models, the iPhone 14 Pro would be priced at $1,099 ($999 for the 13 Pro) while the iPhone 14 Pro Max would start at $1,199 ($1,099 for the 13 Pro Max). The French prices should be even more expensive<\/strong>, due to Apple’s policy and the various taxes applied.<\/p>\n

Daniel Ives explains that this price increase is the result of the shortage and the pandemic<\/strong>: “Prices have increased throughout the supply chain, and Cupertino has to pass these costs on to the consumer during this release<\/em>“.<\/p>\n

What to expect from this new iPhone?<\/h2>\n

As for what’s new, the future series could keep the A15 Bionic chip<\/strong> from the iPhone 13, while the Pro and Pro Max versions would benefit from the A16 Bionic<\/strong> and thus increased performance. Similarly, only the iPhone Pro could finally see the notch disappear and continue to benefit from ProMotion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
