SO\/Paris<\/strong> is the capital’s new 5-star hotel that everyone is talking about, located in the young La F\u00e9licit\u00e9 district at 17, boulevard Morland in Paris<\/strong>. The monumental 16-story building, built in the 1960s, sits on the banks of the Seine and houses 162 rooms and suites nestled from the 8th to the 14th floor, high above the roofs of Paris.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“For the first SO\/ hotel in France, we immersed ourselves in the rich history of the site and the building and, of course, in that of the Seine and Paris. The link with the river and the history of the now-defunct Louviers Island were the first sources of inspiration. And as in any redevelopment project, we took into account the history of the 1955 administrative building of the prefecture designed by Albert Laprade to integrate it into our own,”<\/em> says architect Denis Montel<\/strong>, who heads the RDAI agency<\/strong>, which designed the space.<\/p>\n

If you’re feeling peckish, head to the 15th floor of the building, where the Paris Society<\/strong> group has just taken over Bonnie<\/strong><\/em>, the hotel’s restaurant. On the menu, you’ll find oysters, a Ni\u00e7oise salad, sea bream tartar, lobster salad with avocado … All accompanied by seasonal cocktails and a selection of good wines.<\/p>\n

After enjoying a good dinner while watching the sunset, visitors have the opportunity to continue their evening at the club. With its comfy sofas, bubble lamps, chrome tables and backlit glass bar, it offers a breathtaking view of the Seine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

But for those who want more tranquility, the hotel offers a moment of relaxation at the spa signed by\u00a0Codage<\/strong>. Expert in serums made from natural products, the spa even offers to create its own cosmetic combinations to best suit the needs of each person. “It is quite modest in size with a reception area, two cabins and a hammam. We imagined it in a relative continuity of the rooms. If we abandoned our color range “Paris by night” for emerald greens, the light is still indirect and enveloping (…) The hammam is more amusing, covered entirely with micromosaics of 5 mm x 5 mm. Thanks to their very small size, they allowed us to dress this space all in curves and to bring a bubble side”<\/em> explains Denis Montel.<\/p>\n

The venue also provides access to the adjacent \u00d4 Zenhit gym<\/strong>, which includes titanic spaces and a large pool for swimming laps.<\/p>\n
