The mini-film celebrates the original Hennessy V.S.O.P. cognac and its new decanter with guest star Jackson Wang, founder of Team Wang records & Team Wang design and brand ambassador.

The Hennessy<\/strong> spirits company is unveiling a new campaign for Hennessy V.S.O.P. cognac<\/strong> for the autumn season, with an original creation by the internationally renowned Italian director Paolo Sorrentino<\/strong>. The superstar artist and Hennessy ambassador, Jackson Wang<\/strong>, makes a surprise appearance. Hennessy is also introducing a new, modernized design for the Hennessy V.S.O.P. decanter<\/strong>, a contemporary reinterpretation of the House’s iconic signature, the arm. More environmentally friendly packaging, designed as part of the LVMH Life 360 initiative<\/strong>, is also being rolled out.<\/p>\n

For the record, Hennessy V.S.O.P. cognac, which stands for “Very Superior Old Pale”<\/em><\/strong>, was created as a special order by the Prince Regent, the future King<\/strong> George IV<\/strong>, in 1817. Today, its timeless and avant-garde character is the subject of a disruptive campaign by Oscar-winning filmmaker Paolo Sorrentino. We follow the footsteps of eclectic characters, between a bellboy, a charismatic diva, or an elusive peacock, Edgar, evolving in a unique and delirious visual environment that leads them to “enter the show”<\/em>.<\/p>\n

“There’s a certain lightness to this film. We are having fun, and I hope that this lightness will resonate with the audience, especially since we live in a time when lightness has become essential,”<\/em> explains Paolo Sorrentino about the short film.<\/p>\n
