The British brand Rolls-Royce recently presented its latest model, a convertible named Arcadia Droptail. Sold at an exceptional price, this unique car embodies the pinnacle of automotive luxury and redefines the standards of exclusivity and refinement.<\/p>\n

An inaccessible masterpiece. Rolls-Royce<\/strong>, the carmaker synonymous with luxury and exclusivity, has once again pushed back the limits of opulence with the presentation of the Arcadia Droptail<\/strong>, a unique model.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

At the 2022 edition of the Villa d’Este competition in Italy<\/strong>, the British carmaker presented a concept car, a convertible prototype named Boat Tail. Based on this concept, the Goodwood-based brand has designed four unique models. The first two, named Amethyst and La Rose Noire<\/a><\/strong>, were revealed in summer 2023.<\/p>\n

The Arcadia Droptail convertible is the third of four unique creations in the Droptail “Coachbuild”<\/strong> series, which perfectly embodies personalization and luxury.<\/p>\n

The name “Arcadia” is inspired by Greek mythology, where Arcadia<\/strong> represents a haven of peace and happiness. This choice reflects the Asian owner’s aim to make this car a place of ultimate relaxation.<\/p>\n

Refined design and interior<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Arcadia Droptail is distinguished by its unique nautical design, reminiscent of luxury yachts. The white bodywork, created especially for this model, sparkles in the light thanks to aluminum and glass particles. The black roof, resembling a floating cap, falls away to reveal a rear section in Santos Straight Grain<\/strong> wood, a precious material chosen for its exceptional grain.<\/p>\n

The Arcadia’s interior is a demonstration of Rolls-Royce craftsmanship. Santos Straight Grain wood covers the dashboard, central tunnel and bulkhead behind the seats, with 233 pieces of wood<\/strong> perfectly assembled at a precise 55-degree<\/strong> angle. In all, Rolls-Royce spent 8,000 hours<\/strong> making the various pieces of wood.<\/p>\n

Protected by a special varnish, the wood is designed to withstand tropical climatic conditions, after 1,000 hours<\/strong> of simulated extreme conditions.<\/p>\n

The two-tone upholstery, in white and havana leather, blends perfectly with the wood. The interior package exudes luxury, with details such as a clock integrated into the dashboard<\/strong>, which took two years to develop and five months to assemble. The clock is a symbol of Rolls-Royce’s heritage, which includes numerous collaborations with watchmakers. It is adorned with a 119-facet guilloch\u00e9 motif, in reference to the brand’s 119th anniversary in 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Powerful beauty<\/h2>\n

The Arcadia’s unique paintwork, with aluminum and glass particles, creates a sparkling effect in the sunlight. Unlike the other models, the carbon fiber elements have been painted silver at the customer’s request. Attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the car, from the bodywork to the interior.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Although Rolls-Royce doesn’t officially communicate about the Arcadia Droptail’s powertrain, it’s widely assumed that it’s a twin-turbocharged 6.6-liter V12 engine developing nearly 600 horsepower<\/strong>. The priority here is luxury and exclusivity rather than pure performance.<\/p>\n

With a price tag approaching 30 million euros<\/strong>, the Arcadia Droptail represents the pinnacle of automotive luxury and personalization.<\/p>\n

The Rolls-Royce Arcadia Droptail has already been delivered to its owner in Singapore<\/strong>. Although right-hand drive is more common in this country, the buyer requested a left-hand steering wheel to facilitate international use of the car.<\/p>\n
