Beyond his unforgettable performances, it is his ability to convert his talent into global economic influence that makes him a model of success today.<\/p>\n

The foundations of a legend<\/h3>\n

Born in 1985 on the Portuguese island of Madeira, Cristiano Ronaldo grew up in a modest family. This did not prevent him from being spotted early on for his exceptional football talent : he quickly joined the Sporting CP<\/strong> training center, where he attracted the interest of the biggest European clubs.<\/p>\n

His transfer to Manchester United<\/strong> in 2003 at just 18 years old marked the beginning of his exceptional career.
