The concept then expanded beyond America, first to Japan<\/b> with Tokyo Disney Resort (1983) and then to France<\/b> with Disneyland Paris (Marne-la-Vall\u00e9e \u2013 1992). Disney subsequently strengthened its presence in Asia with two new parks in China<\/b>: Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (2005) and Shanghai Disney Resort (2016). In May 2025, the Disney Group announced the opening of a seventh resort, this time in the United Arab Emirates<\/b> in Abu Dhabi, in partnership with Miral. While the war in the Middle East could delay the opening, the launch of this new resort is not expected before 2030.<\/p>\n

On March 29, 2026, the Paris park unveiled Disney Adventure World, its newly reimagined second park. The latter rises to 36 meters high and dominates the Nordic area. The Frozen-themed land was announced in 2018 and is part of a broader expansion plan estimated at \u20ac2 billion.<\/p>\n
