The Real Real has unveiled its new store in Atlanta, Georgia’s Buckhead Village dedicated to recycled luxury goods.<\/p>\n

Luxury secondhand<\/strong> specialist The Real Real<\/strong>, which has nearly 22 million members worldwide, has announced the opening of its eighth national location in Atlanta<\/strong>‘s Buckhead Village<\/strong>, allowing customers to trade, buy and consign items<\/strong> on site.<\/p>\n

Opened this summer, The Real Real Atlanta store<\/strong> spans 3,200 square feet, and features thousands of second-hand<\/strong> items from top luxury houses<\/strong>, such as Louis Vuitton<\/strong> and Herm\u00e8s<\/strong> bags<\/strong>, fine jewelry<\/strong> from Cartier<\/strong>, Rolex<\/strong> watches<\/strong>, as well as many Chanel<\/strong> and Prada ready-to-wear<\/strong> pieces.<\/p>\n

For Ketoria<\/strong> Holmes<\/strong>, store<\/strong> manager, the location of this new outlet is ideal because of the “strong customer and consignor base<\/em>” present in Atlanta<\/strong>, as well as the high traffic of the Buckhead<\/strong> neighborhood, known for its many stores<\/strong> and restaurants<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Ketoria Holmes<\/strong> adds that The Real Real stores<\/strong> “have proven to be a great way to introduce people to the circular economy.<\/em>” In recent years, the circular economy<\/strong> has been booming and is expected to grow in popularity<\/strong> by 500% over the next five years.<\/p>\n

The store<\/strong>‘s design, which oscillates between retro elements and modern decor, was created by local artist Julie Ann McKevitt<\/strong>. The store is themed by designer and has a wide selection of handbags<\/strong> from past and recent collections<\/strong>, as well as areas dedicated to accessories<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

To ensure that the process of selling used items goes as smoothly as possible for customers<\/strong>, experts<\/strong> will be on hand to evaluate the pieces live and free of charge. Finally, to celebrate the store<\/strong>‘s opening, The Real Real<\/strong> is offering a $100 The Real Real<\/strong> shopping credit, as well as an eco-friendly<\/strong> mask made from recycled t-shirts through the end of July.<\/p>\n
