But now you don&#8217;t have to book a suite to enjoy the interior. The Dubai hotel is opening its doors to visitors, who can now come and admire this unique building.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The<strong> Burj al Arab<\/strong> was born from the imagination of British architect <strong>Tom Wrigh<\/strong>t who, in 1993, drew the first draft of the project on a paper napkin, which is now, 22 years after the opening of the hotel, <strong>on display<\/strong> in its interior.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6282\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6282\" style=\"width: 1200px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-6282\" src=\"https:\/\/magazine.luxus-plus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/royal-suite.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6282\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The staircase to the Royal Suite. For one hundred dollars, visitors can now enjoy a <strong>90-minute tour<\/strong> of this <strong>pinnacle<\/strong> of luxury. As <strong>Andy Nicholson,<\/strong> director of the <strong>Inside Burj al Arab experience<\/strong>, explains, 2021 is a special year for <strong>Dubai<\/strong>. Featured photo : Tripadvisor<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The tour of this <strong>illustrious hotel<\/strong> will therefore last 90 minutes. It will begin with a buggy ride across the <strong>340-metre bridg<\/strong>e to the private island on which the hotel stands. Visitors will then be offered a glass of rose water, followed by a tour of the <strong>Royal Suite<\/strong>, with anecdotes about the architecture of the hotel. Throughout the tour, original sketches by interior designer<strong> Khuan Chew<\/strong> will also be on display to give visitors a better understanding of the history of the hotel.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_6286\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6286\" style=\"width: 1200px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-6286\" src=\"https:\/\/magazine.luxus-plus.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/one-bedroom-suite-bedroom.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-6286\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The palace has several suites, each one more luxurious than the next. Featured photo: Tripadvisor<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Measuring<strong> 321 metres<\/strong>, the hotel is the symbol of the city of <strong>Dubai<\/strong>. Its shape is one of the most famous examples of contemporary architecture. The <strong>Burj al Arab<\/strong> has no less than 56 floors and three basements. It also has a <strong>heliport<\/strong> and a <strong>panoramic restaurant<\/strong>. In the rooms, the showers are embellished with <strong>24-carat gold tiles<\/strong>, and the duvets are filled with Icelandic duck feathers. A menu of pillows is available, so each guest can choose the one that will give them the best possible sleep. The ceiling of its atrium is decorated with <strong>21,000 Swarovski crystals<\/strong> arranged to represent the <strong>Milky Way<\/strong>.
