At Christie’s, a large auction of luxury handbags is being held through November 23. Some bags could fetch up to $100,000.<\/p>\n

“Handbags Online : The London Edit<\/strong><\/em>” is open for online auction through November 23, with bags, luggage and accessories from luxury brands, offered by Christie’s<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Among the highlights of the sale are handbags of all colors from French leather goods maker Herm\u00e8s, known for its Birkin and Kelly lines that easily fetch more than $10,000.<\/p>\n

Leading the lots is a Herm\u00e8s Birkin 20 Matte Concrete Alligator<\/strong>, White Togo & Swift Leather Faubourg Sellier bag, depicting the facade of Herm\u00e8s’ Paris flagship store on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honor\u00e9, estimated at \u00a380,000 to \u00a3100,000 (approximately \u20ac95,000 to \u20ac119,000), in view of its rarity and exceptional condition.<\/p>\n
