While you probably have in your hands the new issue of Luxus+ Mag, Fall-Winter 2021, the seven-time Formula 1 World Champion, Lewis Hamilton, does not go unnoticed on the cover.<\/p>\n

“Lewis Hamilton, driver of change<\/em><\/strong>“: this title also echoes the new version of your magazine Luxus+ Mag<\/strong>. For the magazine’s new visual identity, we wanted to combine the competitive spirit of the Formula 1 champion, a role model for many athletes and fans.<\/p>\n

Lewis Hamilton<\/strong>, who turned 37 just a few days ago, has won no less than 7 Formula 1 World Championship titles<\/strong>, a record that equals that of the no less famous Michael Schumacher<\/strong>. In 2008 and at only 23 years old, the young Lewis won his first world championship. In 2014, after joining the Mercedes<\/strong> team a year earlier, he returned to the podium by winning the world championship. He then allowed his team to return to the podium, which it had not tread since 1995. In 2020, he equals the record of Michael Schumacher, with 7 victories in the F1 world championships.<\/p>\n

This year, after races neck and neck, he finally gave up the victory to Max Verstappen<\/strong>. However, the Mercedes team won for the 8th consecutive year, the Constructors Prize<\/strong>, at the end of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

On December 15, Lewis Hamilton received a knighthood from Prince Charles<\/strong> during a ceremony held at Windsor Castle<\/strong>. The champion is the first driver still active to receive this distinction. His predecessors, Jack Brabham, Stirling Moss<\/strong> and Jackie Stewart<\/strong> had also been decorated after their careers, as Sir Frank Williams, founder of the eponymous team who died a few weeks ago.<\/p>\n

A committed driver<\/h2>\n

Combative on the track and committed on the field, the British champion is the spokesman for minorities and the hope for a whole youth<\/strong> that aspires to realize its own dreams. He remains faithful to the anti-racist message of Martin Luther King<\/strong> who said: “I have a dream that one day my four children will live in a nation where they will not be judged for the color of their skin, but for their character.<\/em>”<\/p>\n
