Where and when will the bells go in Paris ? The Faubourg Saint-Honor\u00e9 committee is organizing an egg hunt again this year, in partnership with the House of Ladur\u00e9e<\/a>. Come and succumb to this greedy and playful quest on the theme of the farm in the garden of the Champs-\u00c9lys\u00e9es, this Wednesday 13 April 2022.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This egg hunt is also an opportunity to revisit the history of one of the emblematic French high-end pastry houses. In 1862, Louis-Ernest Ladur\u00e9e<\/strong> opened a bakery in the Madeleine, a district of luxury artisans. Louis-Ernest Ladur\u00e9e’s wife, Jeanne Souchard<\/strong>, had the idea of merging caf\u00e9 and pastry shop and invented the tea room to become a meeting place.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Ladur\u00e9e is also the invention of a famous French pastry : the<\/strong> Macaron<\/strong>. In 1930<\/strong>, the grand-cousin of the creator of the House imagined a pastry in which two shells were assembled and filled with a delicious ganache. The macaron, emblem of the City of Light, was thus born.<\/p>\n

To celebrate the 160th<\/strong> anniversary of the House, Ladur\u00e9e has imagined and created a majestic creation, made from 35% cocoa milk chocolate. It is filled with dark, milk and rose-tinted white chocolate fritures in the shapes of the emblematic Ladur\u00e9e pastries.<\/p>\n

An Easter egg hunt signed by the Maison La Dur\u00e9e<\/h2>\n

 <\/p>\n

The few children selected will be able to go in search of Easter eggs signed by the pastry chefs of the members of the Faubourg Saint-Honor\u00e9 committee : Julien Alvarez<\/strong>, Pastry Chef at Ladur\u00e9e, Shereen Khelif<\/strong>, Pastry Chef at the Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg, J\u00e9r\u00f4me Banctel<\/strong>, Adrien Bozzolo<\/strong>, Pastry Chef at the Mandarin Oriental, in partnership with the actress Caterina Murino, Chef at La R\u00e9serve Paris H\u00f4tel & Spa, or Jeremy Delval<\/strong>, Pastry Chef at Dalloyau.<\/p>\n

This event will also include a face painting workshop, a game of tag, a sack race and many other activities to delight the little ones from three to ten years old.<\/p>\n
