Awards and couture looks: the best of the 2026 Grammy Awards

The 2026 Grammy Awards, the great annual music industry ceremony rewarding the best works, was held  on February 1st in Los Angeles, with a Bad Bunny who wrote history.

 

The 68th Grammy Awards ceremony ended on the evening of February 1st. Gathered within the Crypto.com Arena, in Los Angeles for this prestigious musical award ceremony, the most fashionable artists of the moment widely applauded the big winner of this edition: Bad Bunny.

 

By winning the Album of the Year award for‍ Debí Tirar Más Fotos, the Puerto Rican singer became the first artist to receive this major distinction with an album entirely in Spanish, a strong symbol for the global recognition of Latin music. The artist also won the award for Best Urban Latin Music Album and Best Global Music Performance. Bad Bunny also made headlines through his committed speech against Donald Trump’s anti-immigration policy: ”We are not savages. We are not animals. We are not strangers. We are humans and we are Americans”.

The other prices of 2026

 

In the other major categories, the award for Recording of the Year went to Kendrick Lamar and SZA for Luther. Kendrick Lamar has also won several awards in the rap categories, consolidating his place among the most awarded artists in the history of the Grammys.

 

For their part, Billie Eilish and Finneas received the Song of the Year award for Wildflower. Finally, the Revelation of the Year award went to the British artist Olivia Dean, while Lady Gaga won the Best Vocal Pop Album with Mayhem and the South African singer Tyla won the African Musical Performance award. Together, these victories illustrate a 2026 edition marked by increased openness to global musical diversity.

American Chappell Roan has amply distinguished himself with his creation Mugler from a collection of the 90s. Her open-back dress was suspended from the piercings on her nipples, while patterns on a transparent background gave the impression of fake tattoos.

 

Dressed by the label Matières Fécales, Lady Gaga wore a black dress entirely with feathers with a long train and a high collar. A real woman bird.

Canadian pop singer Tate McRae opted for a sober and black dress by Balenciaga. The originality of the piece was in its rounded bustier ending on a train and a textured skirt. Black leather gloves came to accessorize the outfit.

 

As usual, Gen Z idol, Billie Eilish has turned away from the traditional cocktail dresses with sequins and frills for a more tailoring set signed by Hodakova. His long black jacket was accompanied by belt buckle details, a shirt worn over the shoulders, a tie and white high socks worn with pumps.
