On Sunday 2 February, the 67th Grammy Awards 2025 ceremony was held in Los Angeles, honouring the best musical artists of the year 2023/2024. From the winners to the most memorable looks, let’s take a look back at this eagerly-awaited evening.
While Beyoncé, Chappell Roan and Kendrick Lamar took home the Grammy Awards’ most prestigious prizes, other celebrities stood out for their evening outfits, which were as sublime as they were sultry
Beyoncé, the Queen of the Grammy Awards
While Beyoncé can boast of being the most awarded artist in the history of the Grammy Awards, the singer had never won the coveted Best Album award. Now the music icon has done just that, competing for 11 awards for her ultra-popular album Cowboy Carter against the likes of Sabrina Carpenter, Charli xcx, Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift. ‘I feel very fulfilled and honoured – it’s been many, many years,’ she said at the ceremony. She also won Best Country Album for the album and Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group alongside Miley Cyrus for II Most Wanted.
Kendrick Lamar made his mark by winning two major awards: Best Recording and Best Song for his track Not Like Us. The track, which is already legendary in the West Coast rap world, also won the Grammy for Best Performance, Best Rap Song and Best Video Clip. A 5/5 for the artist, who won all the categories for which he was nominated.

Taylor Swift, who didn’t win an award this year, came in a draped red mini dress with a worked bustier by Vivienne Westwood. The singer caused a stir with a chain adorned with red hearts and a T-shaped pendant on her thigh, which fans interpreted as a reference to Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs star whom the artist has been dating since 2023.

Lady Gaga’s black Samuel Lewis dress had a gothic feel, with a jacket with a high collar and structured shoulders, and an almost austere flared skirt. In Etro, Shakira wore an orange bodysuit and a transparent skirt embroidered with sequins.
Cardi B opted for a glamorous Roberto Cavalli dress finished off with a profusion of feathers. Chappell Roan, in vintage Jean Paul Gaultier, stood out in a dress with a vintage doll look and heavy make-up with a porcelain complexion.

The dress showed, without any subtlety, her private parts. The couple left on their own before the ceremony, according to several sources, leaving behind a fashion statement that was provocative to say the least.
