That’s it! The time has come to pre-order the first quarterly print issue of LUXUS MAGAZINE. What’s more, we can finally reveal the famous major launch as a world preview: the new Top Time collection revisited by Breitling. The Swiss manufacturer, which has just celebrated 140 years of watchmaking, has chosen to unveil its latest innovation on the front page of LUXUS MAGAZINE. An issue to be pre-ordered before midnight on April 1st to benefit from free shipping.
A completely redesigned paper issue will be out on March 26th.
LUXUS MAGAZINE has not only revised its formula, layout and pagination, but also its creative approach.
For its 10th issue, the spring edition, your favorite magazine that combines news, business and lifestyle, dares to showcase a new iconic product on the front page: the Top Time. And it is the Swiss watchmaker inseparable from the spirit of adventure, Breitling, that inaugurates this revisited formula, in the Cover Story dedicated to it.
Breitling and its spirit of adventure
To start a new era at Luxus Magazine, we needed a luxury éminence grise, a guardian of expertise and excellence of execution.
Breitling, which has just celebrated its 140th anniversary, seemed the obvious choice.
With its spirit of adventure and innovation, the Swiss company, founded in 1884 in Saint-Imier, embodies the values that we want to instill more than ever in the print version of Luxus Magazine.
The watchmaker offered us a preview opportunity to highlight one of the flagship creations that has just been unveiled.
In this issue, we were able to interview George Kern, CEO of Breitling, and Gianfranco Gentile, head of the company’s Heritage department.
In addition to the Breitling adventure, LUXUS MAGAZINE offers you the chance to broaden your understanding of the watch market with a feature on the major design trends in the sector.
Luxus Magazine, a gamble born of lockdown
While the adventure of your luxury news media, Luxus Plus, dates back to 2017, that of Luxus Magazine began four years ago.
At the end of lockdown, Claire Domergue, founder and publication director of Luxus Plus, had the bold idea of producing a paper version of Luxus Magazine.
The first issue was released in spring/summer 2021 with actress Ana de Armas on the cover. With each issue, the logo evolves and the editorial line is refined to offer “a comprehensive lifestyle magazine capable of entertaining executives in their free time and vacation spots”.
On the cover, the stars of entrepreneurship and creation follow one another with Elon Musk, Pharrell Williams – just before the announcement of his arrival at Louis Vuitton – and most recently Taylor Swift and her triumphant world tour, which is re-enchanting the economy and giving hope to millions of people.
Today, for our cover, we have chosen to return to the essence of luxury: the beautiful object and its craftsmanship.
A more compact and richer issue
Lovers of culture, hedonism and other beautiful stories can rest assured: the issue does not only cover the world of watchmaking and jewelry.
On the news side, we look back at the Barrière family saga, a figure closely linked to the casinos and hotels that dot the French coastline. We also share with you all the data dedicated to European exports, through the prism of the threat of customs taxes from the Trump II administration, as well as a moodboard on the prolific and completely unconventional personality of David Lynch, who passed away on January 16 at the age of 78.
There is also a survey on this wave of well-being, which affects all areas, especially beverages. For the Gen, Dry January is not just a question of timing but a year-round thing. Also, matcha teas, mocktails, kombuchas and other non-alcoholic drinks are carving out a prominent place in new drinking rituals.
The short story looks at the origins of saffron, the price of which is sending the markets into a frenzy and whose prodigious virtues are reminiscent of the “spice” of Arakis in Frank Herbert’s Dune saga.
In order to honor our new rhythm without denying anything from our cultured and documented review, we have chosen to reduce the size of the issue to 84 pages.
This condensed version has the advantage of providing greater clarity and readability while facilitating the assimilation of information in an era when demands are omnipresent.
Navigation on paper is now also designed in a more ergonomic way with headings and subheadings. Not to mention a clearer hierarchy between the different parts.
New sections are being introduced, such as Success Story, which offers a generous dive into the world of a brand, its history, its codes and its players.
Not to mention the introduction of a selection of novels and music in addition to unmissable world exhibitions, beautiful books to give or to treat yourself and unmissable movie outings.
Because we believe that paper offers a welcome break from the daily din of digital, we are determined to continue to bring you luxury in all its forms, in a physical format and from a perspective that always combines current events, lifestyle, practical living and business.
Postage is free for all pre-orders of the issue before midnight on April 1st by clicking HERE.
