From January 29 to February 12, China celebrates the first moments of its new calendar year. In 2025, the sign of the snake is praised and, moreover, honored by high-end brands with thematic ranges.
Symbol of growth, regeneration and wisdom, the snake promises a beautiful year to come. For 12 months under this sign of the zodiac, the luxury houses unveil pieces inspired by the animal, including watches, handbags and cognac boxes.
The Hublot Spirit of Big Bang Year of the Snake watch
Since 2016, Hublot has been celebrating the Chinese New Year with a reinterpretation of the Spirit of Big Bang. This year, an edition of 88 pieces is presented, with a perforated dial revealing the mechanics of the chronograph movement, itself occupied by a golden snake that seems to wrap around the three counters.
The Swarovski jewellery line
In parallel to its collection in collaboration with Ariana Grande, Swarovski celebrates the Year of the Snake through pendants, bracelets and earrings that embody rebirth, transformation and vitality. Favorite for the red Snake necklace in rose gold tone plating.

Bags, clothing and accessories: this year, Loewe is celebrating the Year of the Snake with a themed collection featuring motifs that evoke the zodiacal symbol. Within it, the it-bag Puzzle that is adorned with serpentines and the Nest bag created in collaboration with master craftsman Xiong Songtao.
The limited edition of Hennessy cognac
The Hennessy brand has come closer to the artist Shuting Qiu in a collection where the boxes of cognac are metamorphosed in this Year of the Snake. The XO, VSOP and Paradis editions are adorned with an intense red pimpé of purple or yellow and snake and floral motifs.

Tiffany & Co. collaborated with multidisciplinary artist Oscar Wang on a collection around the Year of the Snake. This limited edition gift set consists of ceramic boxes and enamel jewelry holders representing two heart-shaped snakes. These also echo the number eight, a symbol of wealth and fortune in Chinese culture.

Miu Miu presents a collection that includes zip-up hoodies, T-shirts and lucky red cotton underwear. We particularly pick the accessories accompanied by charms including a crocheted snake. And to celebrate the Chinese New Year, the most popular brand on Lyst in 2024 organized a series of immersive activations in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Beijing named «Miu Miu Encounters» as well as a short film directed by Shujun Wei.
