New or original: those cocktails we love this summer

Exit the traditional Spritz and Mojito. This summer, we are trying some new things and original drinks to cool off under the sun – and in moderation.

Martini in mini version, rosorange revisited, alliance of kombucha and matcha… With or without alcohol, selection of some delicate, fresh and tasty beverages to reproduce at home.

Mini Martini: the cocktail in a reduced version

Ideal for a delicate appetizer during an aperitif, or simply to relish a good cocktail in moderation, the mini Martini is widely appreciated in upscale bars. While its big sister is the size of a glass, this drink is dosed like a shot up to about 100 ml. With herbs and cucumber or red fruits, the mini Martini is enjoyed in small sips.

Recipe:
4 cl of gin infused with cucumber or herbs
1 ml of floral white vermouth
1 basil or lemon thyme leaf

Naked & Famous: when smoked mezcal and yellow chartreuse meet

Sacred “Drink of the summer 2025” by the culinary site Delish, the Naked & Famous reveals a balance between smoked mezcal, yellow Chartreuse (two drinks more known by amateurs), Aperol and lime. The whole spread in equal doses. Inspired by the cocktail Last Word, this alloy created in 2011 reveals a smoky taste, light, refreshing and lively.

Recipe:
2.25 cl of Mezcal 400 Conejos
2.25 cl of yellow Chartreuse
2.25 cl of Aperol
2.25 cl of lime juice

A Ballad of Fire: the tequila married to Lillet, lemon and plum

Clase Azul México & le Café de l’Homme

Clase Azul México signs a new ode to the Mexican art of living with ‘A Ballad of Fire’, an exclusive cocktail designed around its new Blanco Ahumado tequila. The recipe combines agave syrup, Lillet, fresh lemon and plum bitters, enhanced with a fine red dehydrated apple. The result is a subtle marriage with smoky notes. Inspired by the volcanic lands of Jalisco, this creation celebrates the ancestral know-how of the House and is served at the Café de l’Homme in Paris in the 16th arrondissement of the capital.

Recipe:
4.5 cl Clase Azul Tequila Blanco Ahumado
3 cl Agave syrup
1.5 cl Lillet
2.25 cl Lemon juice
A dash of Plum bitters
Served with a dehydrated red apple slice

Rosorange with red fruits: the union of orange wine and rosé reinvents itself

The rosorange, this cross between rosé wine and orange wine that has been creating a buzz in recent months, fits perfectly in cocktails. It is accompanied by pomegranate juice, a little lemon and a dash of raspberry.

Recipe:
6 cl of rosorange
3 cl of pomegranate or cranberry juice
1 cl of lemon juice
1 dash of raspberry syrup
Carbonated water
Ice cubes and fresh red fruits

While the cognac market is experiencing a historic slowdown, the brand De Luze founded in 1822 presents a bold novelty: Sweet Ginger. Ginger roots were infused in cognac, before the mixture was distilled with water and reduced to 24% alcohol. The result is a fresh, sweet and impactful liqueur that is integrated into a Ginger Spritz with sugar, sparkling water and sparkling wine. A nice variant of the traditional Spritz and other versions.

Recipe:
4 cl Luze Sweet Ginger
2 cl of sugar syrup
4 cl of carbonated water
Sparkling wine
Slice of lemon or ginger

Kombucha-Matcha: a mocktail that feels good

The alliance of two health elixirs. That’s what this green detox mocktail offers, perfect for cooling off this summer. It is made from kombucha, a slightly acidic fermented drink, rich in probiotics, and matcha, this famous green tea powder with antioxidant properties and rich in vitamins and minerals.

Recipe:
7 cl of plain or lemon kombucha
3 cl of cold water whipped with matcha
1 cl of elderflower syrup
Ice cream

Coconut Espresso: a refreshing coffee

Very popular across the Atlantic, Coconut Espresso is perfect for an afternoon drink. Coconut water is poured over the ice before adding a single or double espresso. This light and ultra-refreshing nectar benefits from a subtle taste that varies from other iced coffees. Not to mention its Instagrammable side as the transparency of coconut water is overshadowed by the blackness of coffee and its delicate foam.

Recipe:
20 cl of coconut water
1 or two espresso
Ice cream
