Just a stone’s throw from the Champs-Élysées, in the heart of the prestigious Golden Triangle, Le Prince de Galles is a popular destination for travellers. This hotel in Paris’s 8th arrondissement, opened in 1929, reflects the French art of living with its refined decor featuring objets d’art, beautiful books and modern furniture. All in a perfectly mastered Art Deco atmosphere. Owned by Marriott Bonvoy’s Luxury Collection, the hotel features 159 keys, each more elegant than the last. The five-star hotel experience continues in the gastronomic areas. The Patio, in the inner courtyard, this year celebrates the Japanese star festival Tanabata Matsuri. This oasis is complemented by the restaurant and bar 19.20 by Norbert Tarayre, with its menu inspired by the luxury version of bistro cuisine, and by the table of starred American-Korean chef Akira Back, featuring Japanese dishes enhanced by Korean and international flavours. A must if you want to make the most of Paris on holiday or for an extended romantic weekend!

Le Fouquet’s Barrière

Between Avenue George V and Avenue des Champs-Élysées lies Le Fouquet’s Barrière, a landmark of Parisian life. The 101 rooms and suites are inspired by the Haussmann-style architecture of the time, with a modern feel. The 750m2 spa features a large swimming pool surrounded by master paintings and antique sculptures. On the gastronomic side, the Fouquet’s brasserie, by Michelin-starred chef Pierre Gagnaire, promotes the art of living in the kitchen, while the Le Joy restaurant, helmed by executive chef Bruno Guéret and chef Mathieu Mécheri, offers creative and original dishes. On the rooftop, the Le Marta bar has been reinvented in velvet and floral motifs, with a brand new cocktail menu.

Le Château des Fleurs

You’ll have to go to rue Vernet to discover Le Château des Fleurs, opened last year in a charming former house. This atypical history has given the hotel a feminine, intimate and delicate atmosphere, with a Belle Epoque touch. The 37 rooms and suites are warm and cosy, with beautiful materials and Art Nouveau features. The hotel called on chef Ji-Hye Park to orchestrate the OMA restaurant. The result is sublime, original and delicious French-Korean cuisine. Not to mention the sublime spa with its sleek arches surrounding the chequered swimming pool.

Hôtel du Rond-Point des Champs-Elysées

This four-star hotel, a stone’s throw from the Champs-Elysées, skilfully blends different eras. With its marble-clad façade, marquee, magnificent glass roof and pewter shutters, the hotel has preserved its historic features while combining them with contemporary pieces. Art Deco is the watchword in the 36 rooms, which feature trendy patterns, bold lighting and pretty, soft colours. The 13-metre mosaic swimming pool is a wellness destination in its own right.

Maison Delano Paris

Set in an eighteenth-century town house, Maison Delano Paris, nestling on rue d’Anjou not far from the Faubourg Saint-Honoré, is a cosy bubble preserved from the hustle and bustle of the 8th arrondissement. This five-star hotel has 56 refined rooms with Haussmann-style architecture, herringbone parquet flooring, large curtains, designer furniture, a period fireplace and impeccably made beds. At the heart of the hotel, the Café Delano boasts a lively atmosphere and a Franco-Mediterranean menu.
