With its 2.9-liter V6 gasoline engine, coupled with an electric motor capable of delivering 536 hp and 750 Nm of torque, Bentley’s new hybrid car promises to quickly make its mark on the automotive market.
Fast, the Flying Spur Hybrid could, according to Bentley, go from 0 to 100km/h in just 4.3 seconds. It has a reasonable weight, justified by a successful weight distribution.
It is the brand‘s most economical car, with 700 km available on a full tank. The reduction of CO2 emissions and lower fuel consumption are still pending certification.
In electric mode, Bentley’s Flying Spur Hybrid is expected to reach 40km of range. In terms of design, the new vehicle is based on the third-generation Flying Spur, with slight changes to the interior related to battery optimization and range.
Orders for the Flying Spur Hybrid, built at Bentley’s historic Crewe plant, will open this summer, with a view to putting it on the road by the end of the year.
