The Charriol watch and jewelry company is once again tapping into the style of the famous seaside village for its newest jewelry collection.
History
Philippe Charriol founded the Charriol watchmaking company in Geneva, Switzerland in 1983. In the 1980s, Philippe Charriol concentrated his efforts in Asia, which enabled him to lay the foundations of his luxury group. The group then rapidly expanded to the Middle East, Europe and America.
Before founding his own brand, Philippe Charriol was for fifteen years one of the leaders of the House of Cartier. He held various positions there, including General Manager and Brand President for the Asian market.
The founder was also a pioneer in online sales. Charriol was one of the first Swiss watch and jewelry brands to create its own e-commerce store, as early as 2008.
The Saint-Tropez collection
The Saint-Tropez jewelry collection by Charriol is now equipped with new exclusive models. Its distinctive sign? Its cabled bracelet made in Switzerland from an exclusive alloy of stainless steel and titanium.
In the new St-Tropez Mariner jewelry, the chain is reinterpreted endlessly through a mix of metals, patterns and pendants.
President and Creative Director Coralie Charriol explains the creative process: “The development was particularly revealing because it really unleashed the essence of the St-Tropez collection. Reimagining the chain was just the beginning. In the context of its maritime heritage, we were able to play with so many shapes and materials, each more exciting and pleasing than the last.” He enthuses, “For me, this is a collection that transports you straight to St. Tropez, evoking the sights, sounds and excitement of this singular place.”
