Located in the 2nd arrondissement, in the courtyard of the Hôtel des Grands Boulevards under a glass roof, Le Grand Restaurant revisits the great classics of Franco-Italian cuisine with a menu designed by the famous Italian chef Giovanni Passerini. In the heart of the Grands Boulevards, the Experimental Group hotel has moved into a private mansion built in the 18th century and redesigned by the architect Dorothée Meilichzon, in the spirit of the Grand Siècle in homage to Marie-Antoinette.

Transformed into a four-star boutique hotel, it features 50 cosy rooms with modern comforts, a restaurant where Italian cuisine is king, as well as the intimate bar The Shell where you can take advantage of the mixologists’ advice.

Giovanni Passerini revisits the specialities and traditional dishes of Franco-Italian cuisine, selecting quality local products. The restaurant’s menu also changes very frequently, as the chef takes into account the seasonality of the products.

Behind the stove, chef Giovanni Passerini takes up the classics of country cooking and makes everything in-house. The menu includes orecchiette, cime di rapa & pecorino and a saddle of lamb, grilled piquillos, pumpkin purée with meat juice and many other specialities of the chef. Don’t leave without enjoying a good dessert like the almond crumble, soft chocolate, bergamot ganache and zest jam.

At weekends, don’t miss the Brunch, where the 38-euro package includes a sweet and savory buffet, fruit juice and hot drinks, as well as a choice of pancakes, eggs or the hot dish of the day.
