Nestled at 30 – 32 Avenue Montaigne in Paris, the famous Dior boutique has for the first time a restaurant named Monsieur Dior, in homage to the founder of the House who described himself as a “gourmet”. A celebration of the French art of living and excellence is what awaits you at the Monsieur Dior restaurant led by chef Jean Imbert.
Dior recently inaugurated its new boutique designed by Peter Marino on the iconic Avenue Montaigne. This former private mansion acquired by Christian Dior now houses a boutique where one can find the ready-to-wear, Haute Couture, accessories and jewelry collections, as well as a museum called the Dior Gallery. The place also unveils French gardens, a confidential suite and a restaurant designed by Jean Imbert.
Jean Imbert and his collaborator Anthony Clémot have revisited the great classics of French cuisine to create the menu, while taking inspiration from the legacy left by Monsieur Dior. The two colleagues offer a “New Look” croque-monsieur with truffles, as well as a “Christian Dior” soft-boiled egg on a bed of caviar. The designer’s favorite dish is still the “Entrecote frites du défilé” or the ravioles with sweet pepper.
The restaurant also has a pastry shop where you can enjoy some breakfast treats and sweets at the much awaited tea time.
Round off your visit with the Dior patisserie, where the Breton Chef reinterprets the most emblematic French cakes with the symbols of the House, accompanied by rare coffees or a tea selected by the Chef barista.
Monsieur Dior Restaurant is open Monday to Saturday from 11:30 am to 8 pm and Sunday from 11:30 am to 7 pm. The restaurant also has a valet parking service.
