Awarded a star by the famous Michelin Guide, the Shang Palace takes you on a gustatory journey to the heart of Asia through a seven course tasting menu.
On this special occasion, Chinese Chef Samuel Lee of the Shang Palace will serve an exceptional menu in honor of the Year of the Tiger. He and his brigade of four cooks are all natives of Hong Kong and reveal a cuisine prepared according to traditional and ancestral methods.
We begin this journey in Asia with a traditional dish, the Sashimi “Lo Hei” of the Chef, a dish symbol of prosperity and good fortune and a Wonton soup with scampi.
The initiatory journey continues with an emblematic dish of the starred restaurant, the Shang Palace Peking Duck. Then, the Chef unveils a blue lobster sautéed with ginger and spring onions, accompanied by these delicious wheat noodles. The tasting continues with a filet of Norman beef sautéed with crispy garlic and chicken-crevette ravioli with notes of black truffle.
To finish on a sweet note, the gustatory journey to discover Asia ends with a crispy mung bean cream ball.
