Luxus+Mag devotes a special report to the mountains in its Autumn-Winter issue

If you are looking forward to snowy vacations after the closure of the ski resorts in 2021, the new magazine Luxus + Mag autumn-winter has put together a special guide for you: “Escape to the Mountain”

Luxury real estate, addresses, shopping… follow our special mountain guide to spend excellent stays surrounded by snow.

Luxury real estate

Despite the pandemic, the demand for luxury real estate is not drying up, continuing the trend observed over the past 2 years. Properties located near French resorts such as Courchevel, Megève, or Val d’Isère are attracting more and more investors. And this trend is confirmed in our Swiss neighbors, as for example in Gstaad. According to a study by seloger.com, 30% of French people consider that luxury real estate remains a safer value than before the crisis and 64% of respondents believe that the time is right to invest in a prestigious property. The first quarter of 2021 was “the strongest in 20 yearswith nearly 400 million euros of property sold, according to Sotheby’s International Realty France.

David Prétot, head of Barnes Mont-Blanc explains to Luxus + Mag: “With the crisis, many owners needed a place in the countryside where to spend the holidays in the best way. (…) they found in the mountains the peace and isolation necessary for the best possible conditions for remote work.

Our good addresses

In the heart of the Stubai Alpine valley in Austria, the Jagdhof Hotel is the ideal option to recharge your batteries in a luxurious mountain setting, surrounded by 80 glaciers and no less than 100 peaks. In addition to its spacious rooms and suites, the hotel offers the Private Spa-Suite, a quiet and relaxing space equipped with a sauna, a hammam, as well as the Infinity-Duo-Pool.

Back to France for this second address, with “Les Grandes Rousses“, a hotel to recharge your batteries in the Alpes d’Huez. With its 98 rooms and suites and its 2 chalets on the “Schuss” slope, the emblematic family hotel welcomes you for an unforgettable moment.

For relaxation, discover “The Spa, by Valmont Verbier“. Located at the foot of the slopes in Valais, Switzerland, the Valmont spa has been given a makeover. Among the treatments offered, “Source de Bisses” plumps up the skin and erases signs of fatigue, “Vitalité des Glaciers” regenerates and firms the skin, and “Eclat des Glaces” evens out the skin. A cocktail of active ingredients and treatments to come back from your stay more radiant and rested than ever!

Finally, to equip yourself in the mountains and protect yourself from the cold, there is nothing like a shopping session before packing your bags. And what could be more fashionable than a Fendi suit, a Miu Miu quilted jacket and Gucci après ski boots? To complete the look, the Camille Fournet calf leather holster, from their “Mobility” collection, will accompany you everywhere, even on the slopes, to ski with style.
