Prada and Céline: discover their selection of films on Mubi

Céline, the selection of cult films

 

Celine’s artistic director, Hedi Slimane, has chosen nine films to be broadcast on the British streaming platform Mubi.

 

Watching classic films helps me enormously in these uncertain days of endless quarantine. I was wondering what I could share, what could be reassuring, what could serve as an escape gift, comforting. Mubi, with its culture and beautiful selection of cult films, was the perfect model for this improvised project,” says Hedi Slimane.

 

Free and with unlimited access until May 31, 2020, this collection, ranging from Hollywood films to feature films on the world of fashion, will provide entertainment during this period of confinement.

Prada Foundation, a second chance selection

 

The Prada foundation has chosen to share, a film collection called “Sublime Chess”, available since April 5th.

 

This collection aims to offer a second chance to films judged disappointing, or badly received by critics. The brand wishes to make discover or rediscover misunderstood or rejected films.

 

Avant-garde screenplays, production disasters, …Each of the 6 feature films owes its unpopularity to specific reasons.
