Spain, a new field of choice for the Radisson Collection Hotel Group

After the opening of the group’s first hotel in Spain, Radisson Collection Hotel opens the doors of its second hotel : the Gran Via Bilbao. Immersion in this new star temple.

This five-star hotel was designed and built by dAAr Arquitectura in an art deco style that combines modernity and elegance. Spread over six floors, the hotel has 137 rooms, two of which have a private terrace with jacuzzi, offering breathtaking views of the entire city.

Within its walls, the hotel houses the first NKO restaurant in the world, designed by the starred chef Eneko Atxa. This gourmet restaurant offers a unique experience to guests by combining Basque and Japanese cuisine. The restaurant is located on the roof of the hotel, which allows you to enjoy a breathtaking view of Bilbao.

The hotel has received LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) green building certification, using 47% less energy and 40% less water than comparable buildings. It also received LEED Innovation credit for creating a “walkable project site” by optimising walking, cycling and other green means on the hotel site.

The group’s ambition ? To open more than 20 luxury hotels in Spain within the next five years, according to a project initiated in 2018.
