Niko Romito, a self-taught chef from Abruzzo in Italy, started in the town of Rivisondoli, in the bakery that his family had transformed into a trattoria. Since 2000, he runs the restaurant Reale with Cristiana Romito, and in 2011, he transferred Reale to Casadonna, a former sixteenth-century monastery in Castel di Sangro.

In a short period of time, he has created an incisive and personal culinary language, as well as a complex system that perfectly combines haute cuisine, different restaurant formats, high-level training and products for home consumption. In 7 years, he obtained three Michelin stars, a consecration for a chef, while maintaining a simple approach to cooking.

The concept developed for Bvlgari Hotels & Resort is to bring the excellence of Italian cuisine to the world. At Il Ristorante in Beijing, Dubai, Shanghai, Milan and soon Moscow and Paris, visitors from all over the world can enjoy a menu that synthesizes the best of Italian cuisine.
