Bang & Olufsen is a Danish brand of luxury audiovisual products. Recently, the brand released a new version of its wireless headphones, the Beoplay EX, starting at 399 euros. For this price, nothing has been left to chance: active noise reduction, transparency mode, companion application, wireless charging case … all with a flawless design.
The Beoplay EX are IP57 certified, which ensures resistance to splashes and sweat, a perfect argument for music lovers at the gym or at the beach! The combination of noble materials is undoubtedly an advantage, the polymer structure, rendered matte, is dressed with a glass touch disc and an aluminum circle. The same goes for the case, like a jewel box, exceptional. The wireless charging station is adorned with aluminum, reinforcing this anchoring in luxury.
To get the most out of your headphones, it’s best to download the Bang & Olufsen app, available on iOS and Android. The latter gives access to several interesting features. Note that the connection to the smartphone is done in a few seconds from the Bluetooth settings.

The Beoplay EX are both provided with a tactile zone allowing among other things with a support to engage the pause/playback, with two supports to put the previous or next song or to lower and increase the volume thanks to a prolonged support, according to that one exerts a pressure on its right earpiece, or left.
In terms of comfort, the brand provides several tips (XS, S, M, L) to facilitate the maintenance and find the best for our ears. In addition to the four silicone options, there is also a memory foam alternative. BeoPlay EX have active noise reduction, with three levels of effectiveness and an adaptive mode. Bang & Olufsen, known for its sound expertise, has opted for a 9.2 millimeter diameter speaker that is very convincing. Finally, the autonomy in a single charge is between 6 and 8 hours depending on the activation of the active noise reduction.
